Part of the York Business Week Business Workshop series. Tickets are £15 per session or £45 for four sessions across the day.

This workshop will help you be aware of and deal with mental health issues in the workplace as well as funding support to train staff within your organisation.

WYCC will explain what The Skills Service is and how you can take advantage of its unique package of part-ESF funded training and support.

Understanding and dealing with Mental Health in the workplace

Sally Ferguson – BlueRidge Company Director and Mental Health First Aid instructor will cover many areas of this including:

What do we understand by the term Mental Health?
The impact of Stigma on mental ill health
How to spot the signs of mental ill health in the workplace
An introduction to promoting and maintaining a mentally healthy workplace?
An outline of Mental Health England courses
