Manufacturing Growth Programme

Want a helping hand? If in doubt, sometimes the best solution is to ask an expert. This 35% grant will help you find consultancy support that can cover a range of topics, such as finance, marketing, R&D and much more.

Product and Process Innovation

Need to test a great idea? This 40% grant for equipment and capital purchases can help enable innovation in your business and improve the process of your products.

Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund

Struggling to get a traditional loan? Getting banks on your side can be difficult and it's not the end of the world if they won't lend to you. This fund could support you on a range of challenges, e.g. exporting, taking on more staff, all through debt and equity loans.

Let's Grow

Looking to create expand your business? Taking on new employees and expanding your business can put a big strain on your finances, but the Let's Grow fund can provide grants from £25,000 to £1 million to support capital investment.

Supporting Innovation in Agri-Food Sector

In the agriculture or food industry? Then this support is right for you. It provides free access to workshops, networking events and the chance to apply for a voucher scheme to access specialist facilities and equipment thanks to the Food and Environment Research Agency.

Skills Support for the Workforce

As your business grows and changes, your staff will require additional knowledge and training to remain productive. This fully funded training opportunity ensures that you can develop your employees alongside your business.

Yorkshire Apprenticeship Hub

With an apprenticeship scheme, you can give your staff the high level skills they need to help you develop your business. Whether you choose to bring a new employee in or train an existing staff member, apprenticeships can help you get the right abilities in your team.

Digital Advantage

The use of digital technologies is unavoidable in business, and this 40% grant funds consultants to enhance the digital capacity of your business to ensure you don't get left behind.

Exporting for Growth

Looking to export? Whether you're a first time exporter or looking to grow, the Department for International Trade are offering grants of up to £2,000 - larger grants may even be available depending on the project. This could help you to access a new market and increase your customers.


SparkFund is an innovation support and grants programme that will help you to improve or develop exciting new products, services or processes.

Food Processing Grant

If you work in the food and drink industry then you could access at least £35,000 to make capital purchases to enable you to invest in projects like building work to grow your premises or to acquire more efficient equipment and machinery.

Tourism Grant

The tourism industry can be competitive, especially if you’re based in a rural location. Access this capital grant of up to 40% of a project to progress your business and encourage more tourists to visit and spend in the region.

Coast, Wolds, Wetlands and Waterways LEADER

A maximum 40% grant is available through the Coast, Wolds, Wetlands and Waterways LEADER programme to support a range of business plans, such as increasing farm productivity or farm diversification, improving the level of tourism in the area and the development of community buildings and public spaces
