Small Business Saturday: Exporting Food and Drink from Beverley to Beyond
The Department for International Trade (DIT) want to help small food and drink businesses discover the big opportunities overseas. As part of Small Business Saturday, together we will look at the impact British-made food and drink has had all over the world and how your products could be the next brand on international shop shelves.
On Saturday 1st December, come along to our special Small Business Saturday event in Beverley where we’ll be joined by special guest Mark Robson, Head of the Department for International Trade Yorkshire and the Humber and MP for Beverley and Holderness, Graham Stuart.
We’ll also have International Trade Advisors on hand to answer any questions, as well as the opportunity to hear from experienced food and drink businesses who are already selling overseas. Meet Atom Beers, Crème d’Or, the London Deli Company - listen to their stories, ask questions and discover how small businesses like yours can start their own exporting journey.
Join us and find out more about:
- The benefits of exporting food and drink products

Craig Benton, Managing Director, The London Deli Company
The London Deli Company was established by long-term food enthusiast Craig Benton in 2010. His love of food started early. While still at school he demonstrated his entrepreneurial flair by setting up a mobile ‘tuck shop’* – selling sweet treats to other children from a clarinet case to keep one step ahead of the disapproving teaching staff.
As he grew older, his love of all things food grew too – and the London Deli Company was born. It’s Craig’s mission at the London Deli Company to bring you the very best of British produce – wherever you are in the world. We discerningly have created a bespoke range of luxury fine products - from preserves and biscuits to crisps and confectionery, there is something to tempt everyone. Whatever your favourite, enjoy a little taste of Britain with one of our quintessentially British treats!
